Owners Bob and Sharonjoy Glass reside on the Key Peninsula, and have invested themselves into the local community. They have an enduring commitment to strengthen the work of local churches and their pastors and they participate actively in Home Schooling activities.
Kyle Proctor serves as the General Manager of Haven of Rest, as well as fulfilling Funeral Director responsibilities as necessary. David Kilgus works to accomplish the daily tasks required of Funeral Directors. On a rotating basis, with the rest of the staff, he responds as necessary all-day, every day (and nights, too!) to hospitals, care centers, hospice facilities, and residences all across Pierce, Kitsap and King Counties, and beyond, as necessary. Jim Guecia offers his services in advanced planning. He helps families take the time to plan ahead and explore all options and possibilities.
Our financial, administrative, and front desk staff consists of Irene Schwab and Martha Bryant. They keep us going, and are the pleasant voices you hear when you call in to our office. They are very skilled at their jobs of financial and record keeping, and none of the rest of us would be able to trade places with them!
Under the direction of Randy Mason our cemetery crew works year-round to keep our grounds and facilities looking great, and to have gravesites ready as needed. Like the proverbial postmen, they do their jobs regardless of the rain, snow, or sun showers of Western Washington.
