Dorothy M Lorensen widow of Howard D Lorensen passed away in her sleep on Feb 2nd, 2017. Born July 1, 1923 in Cleveland Ohio and grew up in Emporium PA where she graduated high school. She relocated to California with her parents in 1940 where she served as a member ot the Aircraft Warning Service during WW II. After the war Dorothy married Howard Lorensen. They raised their two daughters in San Rafael California where they lived until they retired and moved to Gig Harbor in 1979.

Dorothy is survived by daughters Carol Hudson (Jerry), Kathy Buchholz (Dennis), 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
