Jerry Stanley Joosten a Port Orchard, WA resident, passed away from a long battle with kidney cancer on September 17, 2016. He was born March 30, 1943 in Murray, Utah to Clifford and Afton Joosten. Following high school, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1963. Afterwards Jerry spent many years as an Interstate Courier for trucking companies.

Preceded in death by his daughter Lanet and  Parents. Survived by his sons Brent, Wes, Kenny, Jayson, George and Marty; 10 grand and great grandchildren; brother Lynn (Sandy) Joosten; sister Juanita (Dale) Fowles and Collene (Hayden) Caffey.
