Jessie H (McLvor) Offley

Jessie H Offley, 91 years old, born February 22, 1925 in Emmersville, MN and passed away on April 12, 2016 in University Place, WA. She was a long time resident of Gig Harbor and Tacoma since 1979.

She was also a past resident of Bellingham where she raised 3 children. When her children were at home with her she was active in Cub Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, PTA, March of Dimes, and Assumption Catholic Church, of Bellingham. Her home was a magnet for children her whole life. She worked at Bellingham Ferndale Cannery as a USDA Inspector of frozen fruits and vegetables.

She is survived by her children Hattie Otto (Paul), of Bentonville, Arkansas; 2 sons Bernard D (Machell) Offley Jr, St Helens, OR; and Jerry R (Suzzann) Offley of Gig Harbor. She also had 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 12 noon at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor; followed by a burial service and a reception. Please leave condolences and favorite memories on her web page at www.havenrest.com.
