Kathleen L (Dyment) Antonson

Born in Tacoma, WA to John & Rose Dyment on Jan 11, 1927. Passed away in Olalla on Oct 10, 2015. She was 88 years old.

Kathy was married to Elmer "Bud" Antonson on June 1, 1946. They lived in Seattle where they had two children, Diane & Gary.  They moved the family to Gig Harbor in 1951 where they purchased a 50 acre farm and started an egg ranch. After much hard work they ultimately had 10,000 birds and in 1964 they travelled to Detroit where they received the Ford Farm Efficiency Award.In 1968 they closed their egg business & began a new career in real estate which Kathy loved. Together they owned Harbor View Realty & Gig Harbor Realty.

Kathy & Bud enjoyed many years traveling here in the states and abroad together. After Bud's passing Kathy continued traveling extensively around the globe with family & with travel groups. She was also involved in investments and was president of her investment club several times, where she made many close friendships. She was appointed Ambassador for Elder Hostel & gave talks about their programs. Her last trip was just three years ago when she travelled to Mexico with family.

She will be greatly missed by her family who love her so much.

She is survived by her son Gary & his wife Deb, her daughter Diane, 6 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
