I still think about you often. I know I didn’t know you that well, we’d only talked a handful of times but for years I harbored guilt for not asking you to stay at the park that day or anything really. I know there’s no way I could’ve known what would’ve happened 52 minutes from then. I know that but I still wish I had done anything. The impact you had on so many people I knew was astounding. I wish I could’ve got to know you better. Before I moved off the KP I saw your cross had been knocked over I believe in October of 2022. I pulled off the road and put it back up, I drove through recently and I couldn’t even see where it might have gone and it broke my heart. It made me worry that people might be forgetting. Until I found this. I’m glad that no matter what you’ll continue to live on.

So very sorry to read of the tragic loss of your Kyle, so young with all his life yet to live and enjoy.
Our earth is full of pain, suffering, and sorrow. Losing a loved one in death was never part of our Grand Creators purpose for humans.
God has promised to reunite us with our loved ones and to do away with our greatest enemy death.
Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it."
Revelation 21: 3,4 promises: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
May the hope in these scriptures bring you comfort and strength to endure during this difficult time. Please see jw.org

My thoughts and prayers are with the soul of Kyle, family and friends. I did not know Kyle personally but my grandson Gabe was one of his friends.
