Michael Alan Werner

Michael Alan Werner passed away of a heart attack on September 22, 2017 at the age of 52. He was born on June 23, 1965 in Coeur D’Alene, ID to Arthur and Carolyn Werner. Michael was the oldest of two. Michael attended Whitworth University during his freshman year of college. He then transferred to Seattle Pacific University where he made life-long friends and met the love of his life, Heidi. Michael and Heidi married on July 23, 1989. They resided in Woodinville, WA until 2001 when they moved to Gig Harbor, WA.  There they raised their three children: Brittany (25), Brooke (19), and Madisan (16). Michael loved being surrounded by his family. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Michael is known for his caring and generous heart.  He will forever be loved and missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michael is survived by his wife Heidi; daughters Brittany Prince (husband Taylor), Brooke and Madisan; parents Art and Carolyn Werner; Sister Melissa Austin (Husband Mark and daughter Whitney); and many friends and family.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held Friday, October 6th at 1:00pm at Harbor Covenant Church in Gig Harbor.
