On occasion over the years I have tried to track down Ray to thank him. He was my stepfather back when I was a teenager, unruly and selfish. At the time I did not realize what a sacrifice he made to care for my mother and her four children. I was never able to find any contact information.
I'm disappointed that I will not be able to thank him in person, at least in this life. Ray was generous and a good man. I miss him.
