Died February 2nd, 2018 in Tacoma, WA
Robert "Bob" McDonald was a hard-working, thoughtful and intelligent man. He was known for being able to accomplish just about anything he set his mind to. Bob spent the bulk of his working years at the Boeing Company as chief electrical engineer on several key programs, including: E3, E6, and the AWACS programs, among others.
Outside of his professional life, he loved woodworking, studying history, spending time outdoors, travel, writing stories, and "puttering" on any projects his family could dream up for him to tackle.
A capable and loving father and grandfather, Bob is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Kellie, and son Daniel; including multiple grandchildren: Rob, Tyler, Jenna, Max, and Sammie.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and sharing in his life.
Memorial services to be held at Haven of Rest funeral home in Gig Harbor, WA on Saturday May 5, 2018 @ 11:00 a.m.
