Sally Ann Wax

Sally Ann Wax passed away early Sunday morning, May 28, 2017. She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Jerry, her daughters Lia, and Lara, brother Ben and follows her son, Grant. Sally was born in Sheridan, WY, November 9, 1942 to mother, Myrtle, and later adoptive father, Bill Verden. She was an amazing athlete, artist and music lover, being active in her church from a young age. Sally prided herself on her ability to put peoples’ pain and concerns into words for the prayer chain. She was also an amazing public speaker. Music was an integral part of her spirit, as her friends in the Peninsula Community Chorus and Fox Island United Church of Christ can tell you. Sally had a pure artistic talent, ranging from painting to drawing to flower arranging. She welcomed all into her home with an open heart and open kitchen. She never met a stranger.
