Susan Mary Dickson

Susan Mary Dickson, 73, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2017 after suffering a stroke. She is deeply loved and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Born in 1943 in San Francisco, to Langridge and Mary Shelton, Susan came to Gig Harbor in 1953. After her marriage to Conrad Dickson in 1963 they spent 3 years in Sandpoint, Alaska. Upon her return she attended college, and graduated from UPS in Elementary Education, then taught at South Kitsap school district until she retired. She loved gardening, family history, thrift shopping, and spending time with her family. One of her most memorable times was living on a sailboat for 11 years with her husband.

 Susan is preceded in death by: her parents, Langridge and Mary

Shelton; and son, Mark Dickson. She is survived by: her husband Conrad E. Dickson; her brother David Shelton; her son Michael (Stacey) Dickson;  her grandchildren, Courtney & Keenan Eves, Tanner & Victoria Dickson, Britt & Joseph Barlow, Lauren Dickson and Talmage Dickson; and great-grandchildren, Landon Dickson and Westin Barlow.
