"Our Place" is really your story… Because of your trust and confidence, Haven of Rest has been able to serve families of the greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula area in their death-care needs, for some of you, even to the third and fourth generation. Over the years it's been our privilege to care for a grandmother who came to Washington by wagontrain, and to stand beside families who have watched loved ones succumb to the ravages of modern diseases like Alzheimer's. We've shared in the heartache of too many infants and children who died way too soon. It's been an honor to be invited to assist in the services of families from other faiths and cultures. Veterans, and their families, always have a special place in our hearts.
Your confidence in us has allowed us to grow and change over the years, from a small cemetery at the top of a hill overlooking Gig Harbor, to a full-service Funeral Home/Chapel facility, our own on-site crematory, and an ever-expanding cemetery with room to grow for the next three, four, and five generations.
We don't believe in shortcuts, or farming out the very responsibilities you expect us to perform on your behalf. In recognition of the confidence you place in us, we return the trust by always using our own staff, from "first-call" all the way through to burial or cremation.
