It takes years to build trusted professional relationships and confidence in service providers and suppliers. The following list is not exclusive, nor is it intended to steer you from resources in the community that you already know and trust – the following partners consistently provide excellent, accurate information, or services/products that always meet our expectations. 

Pastors and Musicians. We have a close and like-minded relationship with our local churches. If you need some help in finding someone to lead a service, please let us know. We also maintain a list of a wide variety of professional musicians. A conversation about your expectations will help us to make wise recommendations. 

Local florists abound, and you probably already have one in mind that has served your family well over the years. Most florists are also part of FTD or Telefloral, so flowers can be ordered through a florist that is located far away. We recommend Sunnycrest Nursey in Key Center. They can be reached at 253-884-3937.  We can even place in order for you, upon request. 

Local Hotels. In the event you need to arrange housing for out-of town guests, two close and convenient hotels are the Best Western Wesley Inn (253-858-9690) or the Inn at Gig Harbor (253-858-1111). Depending on room availability, both are likely to provide special pricing if you mention services at Haven of Rest. 

Casket suppliers. We obtain the majority of our caskets from the local supplier of Batesville Casket Company, Inc.  We are willing to recommend caskets from York, or from other suppliers, if needed, to meet your price range and quality expectations. 

Granite and Bronze markers. Quiring Monuments is the local granite marker company that always meets our expectations of assisting families in the business of setting memories in stone. We have active working relationships with other manufacturers of granite and bronze markers to meet your specific needs. 

Organizations and Regulatory Bodies. We are associated with several professional associations which include Washington State Funeral Directors Association, International Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association, Cremation Association of North America, and, Washington Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association. Washington State also offers several resources. The Attorney General offers information about what to do when a death occurs. The DOL Funeral Director and Cemetery Board oversees the funeral industry in Washington.
