Alfred Millard Guyaz passed away on January 22nd due to an extended illness. He was a long time resident of Gig Harbor and Fox Island, WA. He lived in Bothell Washington when he passed. He was the youngest child of his parents Myron Francis and Alice Goodfellow Guyaz who preceded him in death. He is survived by Florence (Guyaz) Gehring; Jules M. Guyaz, Emma (Guyaz) Brunner and brother in-law Richard Brunner; Nephews Adam, Jr., Peter, Matthew and Nathan Gehring, and many cousins.
Alfred attended Artondale Elementary, Goodman Middle School and Gig Harbor High. Alfred loved working with his hands. He was happiest when he was involved with a project either building or fixing something. He worked in the construction field and related trades the majority of his life. He was a true handyman known for his resourcefulness and creativity. There was no end to his hard work. His family will always remember his sweet nature and kind heart. Alfred loved all animals. Each pet he had brought out a soft side to him.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 27 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8002 Dorotich Street, Gig Harbor, WA.
