Christopher North Winskill our beloved son, brother, and grandson born July 8, 1989, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019. He leaves behind parents John and Jan Winskill, brother Matthew Winskill, and grandmother Janice North along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Christopher’s ready smile, sweet spirit, and love for those around him blessed us all in so many ways. He was completely ventilator dependent and unable to move his entire life due to an extremely rare neurological disease, yet he touched the lives of those around him including hundreds of children and siblings of intensive care families. Special thanks go to his many skilled caregivers who loved and cared for Christopher throughout the years. A very special thank you is extended to his primary nurse of twenty years, Ineke, who was an amazing blessing in life. We also wish to thank Christopher’s wonderful physicians past and present who coordinated his very complex medical care at home, Alliance Nursing, his home school team through high school (graduate of Foss), case managers, pharmacies, and vendors. All played key roles in meeting his critical care and specialized needs. It truly “took a village.” Christopher is now whole in body and rejoicing in Heaven. He is deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00pm at Believers Fellowship Church, 4112 Hunt St. NW, Gig Harbor.
