Please enjoy reading his "Life Story" as follows

Glen O. Dugger was born in 1927 in Centralia, WA, to Guy Dugger and Velma Jones.  He left on his next adventure December 1, 2015.

Dad attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma where he played varsity football and met his future wife, Dolores.  Together they had four children:  Randy, Jody, Erin, and Regan.  Following a brief stint in the Army, Dad attended the College of Puget Sound (now UPS) and UW Dental School…Go Huskies!  In 1962, he opened the Fircrest Medical Arts Center where he practiced family dentistry until he retired.  Dad was a long-time member of the Fircrest Town Council, proudly serving one term as Mayor.  He was active in the Association of Washington Cities and served on the Executive Committee.

He was also a long-time member of the Pierce County Dental Society, the Washington Dental Association, the Fircrest Golf Club, and the Elks/BPOE Tacoma.  Dad’s last wish was to sit in a chair on the porch where he could see his beloved beach, the Olympic Mountains, his hummingbirds, and one more Fox Island sunset; we were able to give him that gift.

Glen was predeceased by his parents, his brother John “Jack” Dugger, his sister Donna Farley, and his daughter Jody.  Glen is survived by his brother Gregg (Gayla) Dugger, sister Marlene Edwards, his beloved Aunt Areta Stoves, his children Randy (Kathy) Dugger, Erin (Bill) Reetz, and Regan (Joani) Dugger, his five grandchildren; Kaiti (Chet) Lemon, Randi Dugger, Christopher Dugger, Max Reetz, and Molly Reetz, and his three great-grandchildren; Carsten Lemon, Kyleigh Lemon, and Amedea Dugger. He also leaves a special niece, Kerry Farley (Rob) Rounds and their sweet daughter Maddy - thank you for always reminding Dad how loved he was.

The Dugger family would like to give special thanks and love to Mike and Patti for their decades of caring for our father and his various homes, and to John and Chris for always checking in on Dad.  In addition, we would like to thank the nurses and staff of Franciscan Hospice for the compassionate care given to our father in his final days; the multitude of doctors, nurses, emergency & medical professionals who helped keep dad going over the years; long-time friend Julie for the in-home haircuts (we all know how important good-looking hair was to our dad!); and to Annie who was our CNA angel.   Dad was dearly loved by many and we will be forever grateful for all of the wishes, condolences, and emails we received during his final days, not to mention the steady flow of food!  A memorial will be held in the summer and a notice will be published.   RIP Dad…we love you, we miss you!!   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Franciscan Hospice, P. O. Box 1502, Tacoma, WA  98401.
