Harlan was the age of 93. Born to Hans and Clara Edison in Volga, South Dakota. He came to the state of Washington in 1954, where he married his girlfriend Nancy from Oldham, South Dakota and have been married for 65 years. He leaves behind his wife Nancy, three of his four daughters, Leslie (Ray), Gwen (Corey) and Terry (Art) and daughter Kristine is deceased, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Harlan was an auto mechanic at Walker Chevrolet in Tacoma for eighteen years then went to be an automotive mechanic instructor at Clover Park Vocational School and retired in 1989. Harlan went on to play golf, go camping, garden and work with wood. He lived a wonderful 52 years of his life in Gig Harbor. There will be no memorial service. There will be a family gathering later.
