I am saddened at Jim's passing. Polly and I were inseparable at Biola. I often went home with her on the commuter car. I remember when she became giddy about the sailor boy and eventually I was a bridesmaid in their wedding. We remained friends through the years. My husband and I last visited them shortly before Polly's death.
They served the Lord and others faithfully and I am so happy to call them my friends.
May God bring you great comfort and peace.

Lori, Mike, Kristin and Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Jimmy's passing. However, we are assured he is having a wonderful reunion now! He was always one of my favorite uncles since he was the youngest and always treated me like his "favorite" niece. Of course I was his only niece for about 12 years!!!! Please know that you are in our prayers.

To the family of James Berry, my deepest sympathy for your loss. He sounds like a most wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. May the many fond and happy memories sustain you and the knowledge he is now with the Lord keep you. My love to all.

To all the Berry family
I just had a thought today. I can just imagine Jimmy, Polly, Razz, Doe, Jo Ann, momma, and daddy singing that old song"Glad Reunion Day." God bless all of you.

Even though many years and miles have separated our families, I will never forget uncle Jimmy's jovial heart and aunt Polly's gentle spirit. We rejoice with you that they are now together in the presence of our Lord. May the Lord grant you peace and many pleasant memories of your dad.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious father!
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Although I never met your Dad, Kristen, I feel like I know him through you and all the wonderful memories you have shared with me over the years.
