So very sorry for the tragic loss of your young son.
Our earth is full of pain, suffering, and sorrow. Losing a loved one in death was never part of our Grand Creators purpose for humans.
God has promised to reunite us with our loved ones and to do away with our greatest enemy death.
Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it."
Revelation 21: 3,4 promises: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
May the hope in these scriptures bring you comfort and strength to endure during this difficult time. Please see jw.org

Offering sincere condolences, no doubt this is a difficult time for the family. May you put trust in the many promises our Heavenly Father says will soon come about and allow that wonderful hope to comfort you in the days ahead. (John 11:25; Ps. 37:29)

James, we all miss you so much. The cousins had breakfast together this morning. It was great to see them together but you were absent. What a hole you leave in our big crazy family. We have had so much fun looking at all the family pictures over the years while finding ones of you. You are so photogenic. Your face just shines out in every picture so its hard to pick for the video for Sunday. Except for maybe the awkward middle school phase. Those are just fun because you looked so annoyed. You were such a good caretaker of your sister Sarah. We just read an email that you sent to a middle school teacher where you were asking her to watch our for your sister and put her in her class. It was so sweet. I wish we could give you more hugs and have more Sunday family dinners and backyard bbqs. Miss ya.
