Judy Carol Rotter

Judy C. Rotter, a long-time resident of Vaughn, WA, passed away on May 10th, 2018 at the age of 77 with family by her side. She had a stubborn streak that was evident until the very end, and lives on in the many that she leaves behind. During her retirement Judy enjoyed crafting, cooking, and gardening. Being with her loved ones was her favorite past time, followed closely by her love of watching the Mariners play ball. Prior to her retirement she was a beloved lunch lady at Peninsula High School.

Judy was born in 1940 in Wyoming. At a young age her family moved to Washington looking for work. She spent many years in the Bremerton area. She met her husband Paul in Kent, WA, where they raised their family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Bertha Courier; her siblings; her daughter Carole; her granddaughter Amanda, and great granddaughter Angel.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Paul Rotter; her children Jon, Melody, and Paulette; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many more that she considered grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 11 am in Gig Harbor at Haven of Rest funeral home.
