Kathleen Eleanor Winsor

Kathleen Elenor (Ingram) (Swanson) Winsor, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Manorcare in Gig Harbor, WA.   She was born to the late James Ingram and Mary Belle Durgin on November 5, 1936, in Minneapolis MN.

A loving mother and homemaker, Kathleen was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends.  Kathleen also worked for the United States Postal Service, where she was a pioneer in the fight to create a smoke-free and clean work environment within the postal service.

Kathleen is survived by her two children, Steven Swanson of Moses Lake, WA, and Mary Swanson of Gig Harbor, WA, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and her sister Pat Meis of White Bear Lake, MN; and a number of other loving relative and close friends.

In her late years of life, she was cared for by loving family and everyone has gratitude for everything done to keep her safe and healthy til the end.

Private services are being held on September 27, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Haven of Rest Funeral Home, 8503 WA-16, Gig Harbor, WA 98332.
