M. Elaine Wright

M. Elaine Wright, 90, died on December 18, 2018.  Elaine was a retired teacher and homemaker, having moved to Sequim, Washington from New Mexico in 1994.  Born in 1928 and raised in Chicago, IL to parents Grady and Pearl Edwards, Elaine went on to earn her bachelors in education from Bob Jones University.  Soon after, she married USAF officer Clayton Wright and traveled with him around the globe.  Together, they raised 5 children.  Clayton died in 1986.  After moving to Sequim, Elaine married Bob Colling, who died in 2007.  In 2015, Elaine moved to Gig Harbor.  In 2016, she married Herb Posehn who survived her in death.  Elaine is also survived by her five children, Debbie, Suzanne, Randy, Jonathan and Marc, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services for Elaine will be held at 2pm on January 13, 2019 at the Gig Harbor Court, 3213 45th St Ct NW, Gig Harbor WA.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Elaine to your preferred charity.
