Richard "Rick" L Gerke

Richard L. Gerke, 66, an Olalla resident since 1979, died May 13, 2017. Rick was a retired US Postal Rural Carrier in Gig Harbor and an avid Christian and gardener. He was a Vietnam Veteran; he served in the U.S. Navy. He volunteered at St. Anthony Hospital and drove for The Lodge at Mallard’s Landing part time. He was a member of Harbor Life Church in Gig Harbor.

Family members include his wife, Debbie; sons: Richard, Italy and Michael, Mil; two daughter-in-laws, Fleur and Seron; four grandbabies, Ethan, Emeree, Jacob, and Sophie.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at Harbor Life Church in Gig Harbor at 10:00am. Interment will take place the same day at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Gig Harbor at 3:30pm.

Remembrances in Rick’s name may be made to Harbor Life Church.
