Sharon Lee Eslick, 72 passed away from cardiac arrest on October 10th, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Beulah Gaylor, her second husband Salvador Alvarez and her third husband Ronald Eslick. She is survived by first husband, Raymond Steinbock, her children, son Michael Steinbock, daughter Connie Debs and son Steven Steinbock.

Sharon Lee Gaylor was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on July 29th, 1945 to Tommy and Beulah Gaylor. Sharon attended grammar school in Oklahoma and while in Her 30’s, completed her GED, obtained her AS degree from Pierce Jr. College and became a Registered Nurse. She worked as an RN for over 20 years.  She married Raymond Stuart Steinbock April 29th 1959.

Sharon loved gardening and took joy in showing family what was growing in her garden. She also loved to cook and bake. She was always doing something, perpetually busy. She was never without pets; she loved cats, dogs and birds. At one point, when Michael moved out of the house, she made his room “The Bird Room.” It was nearly full with bird cages. She was known as a “dog magnet” and would always have one or more in her lap when she finally sat down.

Sharon loved to laugh and make others laugh. She didn’t mind appearing silly if it would amuse someone. She would embarrass her children by doing silly dances in front of their friends.

Sharon was a beloved nurse and fellow co-worker wherever she worked. Her kindness and sense of humor were like medicine to her patients. Her ability to find a vein for an IV when others could not made her very popular. She only stopped working when her Rheumatoid arthritis made it difficult for her to walk.

Sharon was a woman of faith, becoming a Christian at age 53. Though her church attendance dropped due to frailty and pain, she remained steadfast in her faith.

Sharon is deeply loved and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She left a legacy of humor and humility, kindness and generosity.
