Steven Scrudder Obituary

Steven Randall Scrudder, 58, died peacefully in his sleep July 25, 2019. A Washington resident since 2003, Steve was an avid fisherman and loved being outside. He was also a huge Raider fan in good times and bad. A Mariners fan since moving to Washington, he had a great time “watching” the Mariners play the Texas Rangers via text message with his mom and listening to Elvis. He was an Army veteran and proudly served his country for a total of 10 years at multiple duty stations.

All who knew Steve, knew him as a passionate man. There was never a question about how he felt about something, positive or negative. He would help anybody he could without fanfare or expectation. The world is dimmer today without that big smile. He will be dearly missed.

Steve is survived by his wife, Monica, of the home. A son, Joshua (Crystal); Cheyenne, Wyoming. A daughter, Stephanie Cannon (Alex); Vancouver, Washington. Mother, Donna; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Two sisters: Debbie Richards (Harold); Salina, Oklahoma and Laurie Dwyer (Tim); Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. 7 grandchildren who will miss their “PopPop” and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry.
