Thomas R Rajkovich

Thomas R. Rajkovich, 78 a Gig Harbor resident since 1978, died June 30, 2019.  Tom was a man of many talents and made friends easily through his interests in travel, fishing, restoring classic cars, sports, music, cooking and gardening. He was a member of the Eagles club, the Gig Harbor Cruisers Automotive Club, and attended church at Believer’s Fellowship in Gig Harbor.  Tom served in the Marines, but his greatest service was to his family.  He married Claudia (Dusty) in 1974 and bravely took on the role of father to her six children.  Tom and Claudia were married for over 38 years until she passed away in 2013.

Tom is survived by those six children, Tod Burres, Olympia; Wendy Young, Lakebay, Darren Burres, Puyallup; Corey Rajkovich, Lakeside, MT; Randy Rajkovich Gig Harbor, and Nickie McNew, Gig Harbor; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his dog Loki, a faithful and ever-present companion.

A memorial service will be Saturday September 14, 2019 at 10:00am at Believer’s Fellowship in Gig Harbor.  Remembrances may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
