William Elroy Wilson

William Elroy Wilson, resident of Lakebay for 24 years, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, one day short of his 60^th birthday. Bill was born in Anchorage, Alaska but lived much of his life in Spokane Area. He was a man of faith, connecting with many good friends at several churches on the Key peninsula. He was a proud handyman, gardener, and car mechanic, loved to fish, and was an avid rock hound. He enjoyed camping and walking the beach.

Bill met the love of his life, Kelli, while earning his Master’s Degree at Central Washington University. Even in the hospital, he lit up when Kelli entered the room or he heard her voice. They completed their family with son Martin and daughter Sara. Bill is also survived by sister, Valda, and brother, David. Bill joins in heaven his mother and father, Helen and Fred; brother, Michael; and sister, Selma.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Lakebay Community Church (11 Cornwall Road KP S, Lakebay WA 98349), Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11 am. A potluck will be held immediately following where friends and family are encouraged to reminisce about special times and share big fish stories.
