Barbara Lynn Mansfield Boad was born on May 15th, 1940 in Yacolt, Washington to Willis George Mansfield and Ruth Anmelda Gatzmeyer.
Barbara graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1958.
She retired from the Washington State National Guard at Camp Murrey in December 1993.
Barbara married Ben Boad on March 16th, 2000 in Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Grace Horton (married to Gene- dec), Harriett Bethje (Married to Lloyd – dec), Ethel Bethje (married to Merle – dec), and Wilma Mansield Boad, her husband Ben Boad, her step-daughter Beverley Boad and her step-son-in-law Miguel Gonzales.
She is survived by her siblings, sister Charlotte Cummings, and brothers Frank (Frances) Mansfield and Clifford Mansfield; step-son Robert Boad and his wife Jennifer; Nadene Gonzales; her five grandchildren: Melina, Ismael, Marie, Kevin, and Hollie; seven great-grandchildren in Las Vegas, five great-grandchildren locally, and numerous other family and friends.
Barbara loved to travel and cruise all over. She had traveled to every state and every providence in Canada, and several countries in Europe and Central and South America. She also loved going to the ocean, the casinos, and many local vacations. She loved her family and friends deeply and will be greatly missed by everyone she knew and loved.
