Debbie Sanstad

Debra Leann Martinelli Sanstad went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. She was born on January 6, 1958, and graduated in 1976 from Peninsula High School. Debbie was always the sweetheart of her workplace, first as a bookkeeper at Harbor Water and later at the Institute for Functional Medicine for the last several years. She cared deeply for and always spoke fondly of her IFM work family. 

Debbie had a gentle, kind heart and was well loved by her friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and “Grammie” to four beautiful grandchildren. She loved crafting, traveling, and exploring the wonders of new places. Debbie enjoyed documenting her travels and family memories in handmade scrapbooks. She also took after her grandfather and delighted making jewelry for family and friends. On any given weekend, Debbie could be found deep in a good book, sipping a strong coffee while laughing with her grandkids, or knee deep in a gardening project. Debbie always prioritized close friends and family and will be deeply missed. 

Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Martinelli. She is survived by her mother, Wanita, brother, Daniel, two daughters, Nicole and Courtney and four grandchildren.
