Deena Marie Sandberg

Deena Marie Sandberg, 48, passed away in her home on February 24, 2020. She was born in Tacoma on May 6, 1971 to Raymond and Donna Spadafore. She is deeply loved and will be missed every day by her family and friends.

Deena spent her working years as a merchandiser with Core-Mark for 15 years, working with preschool kids and volunteering in school activities. She loved music and watching her husband play his guitar. Going to rock concerts was a passion. Taking pictures of trips adds memories we will treasure. She was our rock, see you in heaven baby!

She was best known for smiling, joking, and having fun, as well as helping anyone in need. Her generosity was never ending. She was always there to help out a neighbor. We will miss her incredible cooking and baking skills, her love for the family and how well she took care of us.

Her favorite past times/hobbies were playing billiards pool in the A.P.A pool league for 10 years, going to the YMCA, traveling and being the best mother anyone could ask for.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Nathan C. Sandberg, Sr. of Gig Harbor; sons Nathan Jr. and Tyler Sandberg; parents Raymond and Donna Spadafore; brother Allen Spadafore and sister Gina Spadafore. Deena is now with her grandmother, Anne Williams; and her brother, Michael Spadafore.
