Desma passed away at the age of 90, she lived a really good life. She was born into a loving family of nine children. She was the third daughter of five girls and the fourth child born.
Des was a loving woman, good wife of 55 years, caring mother, exceptional grandmother and GREAT great grandmother. She loved to make crafts and decorations for her home and everyone else’s. For years she sold her creations at local holiday bazaars including the Puyallup Spring & Gift Show. Des was funny and loved chocolate. She would bake up a storm and it was always a joy for her to share with others. She was a great listener and would give you a hug or a sharp word when you needed it. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and her annual holiday party was famous for the crazy gift exchange. The house was filled with food, fun and festivities for all. Family meant everything to Nana and her love for children was always in her heart. She is survived by her 2 brothers, 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A family memorial is planned for this summer.
We laid her to rest with Dad and they are together forever.
Rest in Peace Mom and we are so glad Dad is holding your hand now.
We love you Mom, The McIntire Kids
