Harry Ireland III Obituary

Harry was born on December 26, 1948 to Harry and Martha Ireland, the third of five children. He lost his battle with cancer on September 10, 2021 with his wife and children by his side.

Harry was a graduate of Peninsula High School class of 1967. After graduation he joined the Navy and served two tours to Vietnam on the USS Bon Homme Richard. After his service he moved back to the Gig Harbor area and commercial fished. Harry married the love of his life, Linda, in 1976 and had two girls. Harry and Linda ran Fox Island Mutual Water Associate together for 35 years with him as manager and Linda as bookkeeper. After retirement they loved traveling in their 5th wheel, fishing and spending time at their lake place with family and friends.

Harry was the best husband, father, grandpa and friend anyone could ask for, truly one of a kind. He leaves behind his loving wife, Linda; his two daughters, Michelle (Jason) Thomas and Elizabeth (Marlon) Ridgeway; his four grandchildren, Tristin, Logan, Orion and Kaelyn.

A memorial for Harry will be held in January.
