Hugo Jens Crichfield

Hugo Jens Crichfield, a lifelong resident of Gig Harbor, Washington passed away July 5, 2022 at the age of 60.

Hugo was born November 19, 1961 to Louis and Lola Crichfield in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from Peninsula High School in 1980 as an accomplished athlete. He married Barbara Slaight on April 27, 1985 and together they raised three children.

He worked as a Print Press Operator, Printing Estimator, and Marine Mechanic prior to his career as a Plannerman at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Hugo was known as a trivia master and always had fun facts to share. He enjoyed tabletop games, darts, visiting the coast, his many aquariums, music collecting, and all things related to sports. Family game nights will never be the same without him.

Hugo was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 31 years. He is survived by his children Justin (Casandra) Crichfield, Amber (Trevor) Siva, and April Crichfield; sisters Kathy Christensen and Kristina (Jim) Hege; four grandchildren; and four nephews.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Sehmel Homestead Park Volunteer Vern Pavilion on August 20, 2022 at 11:00am. All those who knew him are welcome to attend.
