Jaden Tyler Berheim (19 Years Old) of Gig Harbor Washington passed away on April 16th, 2021. Jaden is survived by his mother and father (Derek and Nora Berheim) and his 12 year old brother (Brody Berheim), as well as his extended family.
Jaden was born on June 5th, 2001 in Tacoma Washington, and later grew up in University Place and Gig Harbor Washington. As a toddler, Jaden had the gift of gab, with an advanced vocabulary and could bring a smile to everyone who surrounded him. As he grew up, it was obvious to everyone that Jaden was blessed with many talents and was naturally athletic. He was able to play simple notes on a piano at an early age and also taught himself to play the guitar. As a youngster, he learned to ride a bike at the early age of 3 and went on to play many sports. He wrestled, played football, played basketball, and even took a turn at tennis, but ultimately found his love for the game of lacrosse at the age of 11. He primarily played lacrosse with the Peninsula Lacrosse Association, but also played year round with South Sound Stars Select Lacrosse team. Jaden’s talent and athletic abilities did not go unnoticed and he was selected to play for the Peninsula High School Varsity Lacrosse Team as a 9th grader.
Although Jaden was athletic, he was not an overly competitive person. The time spent with friends and teammates was always the most important thing. Often times he was seen gabbing up with apposing players and congratulating apposing players on their play. Win or lose, he was always having a good time. Jaden was a carefree, and a compassionate person who put friendship and fun above all things. Friends and family can agree that he was the life of the party and brought a fun lighthearted energy to any situation.
Although Jaden’s life was cut short, he made an impression on everyone that is unforgettable. His sense of humor, smile, positive attitude, laughter, charm, and enthusiasm for life is something to me admired. Jaden was a loved by all and the family finds peace in knowing that Jaden is now in heaven with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
