Obituary

Jeffrey Scott Faverman, 68, passed away on January 23, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Los Angeles California to Jeanne Palmer and James Faverman on December 17, 1954. He was the second oldest child and oldest son, and is survived by his siblings Judy, John, and Joel. He graduated from Monroe High School, where he was the star of the drama department. He attended Carnegie Mellon University College of Drama, and then returned to LA to join the prestigious Charles Conrad school of acting. He was part of the acclaimed Warner Brothers Film Actor’s Workshop, as well as the California State University Northridge (CSUN) Drama Workshop.

He was in numerous theater productions, a television pilot, and film projects. He was a professional actor/writer/director/producer for 21 years, with 11 of those years in L.A.  He used his talents as the producer and director of his mother’s television show, which was syndicated nationally, interviewing top business executives. He fell in love with Andrea Cook, they got married, and had two daughters. He moved his family from Los Angeles to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, ending up in Port Orchard, WA. He spent the rest of his life in the Kitsap County area, which he called home.

Jeff’s greatest career accomplishment was creating the Washington’s Actor’s Workshop where he taught acting to children and adults all over Washington. His other greatest accomplishment was raising his two daughters and getting them both through college and into careers. They were extremely close, and together over the years the three traveled the west coast from British Columbia to Southern California going to festivals and concerts before fulfilling a lifelong dream of travelling to Europe in 2002 to visit Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Italy. In 2022 they took a vacation to Hawaii together for Father’s Day for one last amazing time together.

Jeff had many skills and talents.  He was of course a brilliant actor, and he excelled in fencing, archery, and mime.  He was an incredible musician and was singing and playing his guitar up until his final days.  He could play rock piano by ear and would on occasion break out his harmonica.  He always loved swimming, and when his girls were young, they always went together.  Later in life it was still one of their favorite pastimes.  He achieved one of his life goals when he wrote his amazing novel called Fasnia.  He will be remembered as a teacher, an actor, a director, a writer, a manager, a musician, a driver, a dreamer, a father, and a friend.

Jeff is survived by his two daughters Heather Faverman Aquino and Jeanne Rebecca Harrel, and his sons (in-law) Jon Aquino and Justin Harrel. He will be remembered as having a bigger than life personality and always fun loving to anyone he met. He will also be remembered as Superman and the Best Dad Ever by his daughters who were lovingly by his side until the very end and will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will take place on June 24, 2023 at the Olalla Grange, located at 7554 SE Fragaria Rd., Olalla, WA 98359.  Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories.
