Judith Wishman Obituary

Judith "Judi" Ann Ott,  born September 15, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA left for heaven on May 24, 2020 at 70 years of age in Tacoma, WA .  Judi grew up as one of 5 kids on the coast of Southern California spending many hours on the beach for much of her young life.  She graduated a half a year early from Marina High School.  At age 18 moved to the Midwest where she married Donald Wayne Parkman who took her throughout that region and Germany in their career in the US Army and in the ministry.  During that time she was a mother of four children, one of which she lost at the age of 11 months.  She held many jobs in different factories helping to support her family.  She attended college at both Southwest Baptist Bible College and Baptist Bible College in Missouri.  Eventually, she made her way back to California where she raised her three daughters and held different clerical jobs. She eventually landed at the State of California as a Staff Services Analyst at the Department of Consumer Affairs and retired from there after 13 years.  During her employment at the state of California, she met and married her second husband, Carl William Wishman.  They were married until he passed away in 2004.  Judi then never remarried but remained a widow until her death.  After retiring, she moved to North Carolina and then landed in Gig Harbor, WA until she passed.

Judi's father (George Ott), mother (Thelma Tabor), sister (Sharyl Shaw), son (Michael Parkman), granddaughter (Adrianna Parkman) and son-in-law (Andrew Stevens)  preceded her in death.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law:  Kim and Seth Holt, her daughter and son-in-law: Lorretta and Sean Cuevas, her daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Don Mealor, her sister and brother-in-law: Sandy and Paul Gaff, her brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Sandee Ott, her sister and brother-in-law: Lorrie and Ron Gibby, as well as her grand children: Alexandra, Trinity, Logan, and Hayden and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

A digital viewing of Judi will be held on May 27 at 2P at Haven of Rest Cemetery 8503 State Route 16 NW, Gig Harbor, WA.  She will be cremated.   A memorial service will be determined when the COVID pandemic regulations are lifted.
