Lannie Enger
Lannie was born in Spokane, WA on 07-17-1947. He passed away on 08-12-2022 in Tacoma, WA. He moved to Rosedale in 1959. Moved to the Enger compound in 1962 (Burley lagoon).
He is survived by his wife Lanelle A. Enger of Gig Harbor, two sons; Lance D. Enger of Gig Harbor and Jeremy M. Enger of Gig Harbor. He was proceeded in death by his parents Bert O. Enger and Irene E. Enger, and his brother Barry L. Enger, all of Gig Harbor.
Lannie graduated from Peninsula High School in 1965, and Puget Sound University in 1970. He worked from 1966 to 1976 as a Longshoreman for ILWU local 23 Port of Tacoma. 1976 to 1981 Air traffic controller in Long Island, New York. 1981 to 2006 Longshoreman ILWU local 23.
In 1989 he bought Enger Compound, and in 2006 he retired and lived out his retirement there in peace.
