Linda Wilcox

Linda Wilcox, 81, passed away March 1, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Linda was born and raised in Gig Harbor, where she graduated from Peninsula High school in 1957. Gig Harbor is where Linda met her sweetheart, Don Wilcox. They were married March 17, 1961 and remained holding hands until Don’s passing in March of 2018. Linda is survived by her four children, Lisa, Don Jr, Kim, and Michael, her sister Beatrice and her brother Phillip, her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Linda’s brothers, Laurence and Richard both preceded her in passing.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, and friend who enjoyed many activities including painting, drives through the county, and boating on the sound. She traveled to Guatemala on several occasions to work with missionary teams to build a school and make other improvements to enhance the locals’ way of life. She fed the homeless, cared for the sick, and lived her life selflessly.

Memorial services for Linda will be held later this spring or summer.
