Margaret May Mitchell

Margaret May Matthew Mitchell, (Margie) 88, passed away peacefully in Gig Harbor,

Washington on March 29, 2019. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 15, 1931 to Archie Sr. and Mabel Matthew. 

Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald Mitchell in 2014. They have three children, Jeff Sr (Donna), Robert, and Sally Niemann (Michael). Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In the 1960’s and early 1970’s, Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for “Ron Mitchell Corporation / Fantastic Homes," a company that she and her husband owned and operated building many custom homes in the local area. She spent the remainder of her life as a full-time homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother for her family.

Margie and Ron lead a full happy active life and had a storybook marriage with no regrets since meeting each other in the eighth grade. They enjoyed  boating, playing tennis, golfing and traveling the world. They spent the summer in Gig Harbor, at their home on Horsehead Bay, the fall in Arizona and winter in Maui, Hawaii. 

She is deeply loved and will be missed every day by her family and friends.
