Marilyn Johnson-Lyons

Marilyn Johnson Lyons went to Heaven on December 8, 2022, at Cottesmore for life in Gig Harbor. Marilyn had just celebrated her birthday on December 3rd. She was 89 years old. Marilyn was born in Clarkston, Washington in 1933 to Frank and Agnes Johnson. Marilyn had four brothers and one sister. She grew up on a farm, attended Clarkston High School, and then attended Idaho College in Moscow. She moved to San Francisco, California to work for an Insurance Company. She met Harold Lyons and later they were married in Clarkston, Washington on December 26, 1956. They were married for 64 years. Marilyn had four children, Michele Lyons, Milessa Wingfield, Cindy Beadles, and Chris Lyons (deceased). She also had two grandchildren, Sarah Barlindal and Cassie Piersol, and two great-grandchildren, Roman and Jackson Piersol. Marilyn worked for Jet Equipment and Tools as an office manager. She left the company when the company was sold. She worked for Coldwell, Banker, Bains in Real Estate as an office manager. Marilyn was able to type 90 words a minute, took shorthand, and could spell almost any word. The people she worked with always held her in high esteem. She was willing to help other people and did so on many occasions. She will be greatly missed by all.
