Marilyn Recknagle Obituary

Marilyn L. Recknagle, 92, went to be with the Lord, Dec. 1st, 2020. Born June 2nd, 1928 in Puyallup, WA, she eventually settled in Gig Harbor with her husband and family.

Marilyn was the manager of Gig Harbor Lanes for over 30 years, a volunteer at the Gig Harbor Visitors Center, an avid bowler and former baseball player. Marilyn was an artist and a crafter “extraordinaire”, selling her wares at various bazaars for many years, something she greatly enjoyed. She also loved to play cards with her Bridge and Pinochle groups.

Our devoted matriarch leaves behind her son, Lee Recknagle and daughter-in-law Diana, of Olalla; daughter Candace and son-in-law Garrett Huske, of Belfair. Marilyn was also a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
