Maryah Delgado, age 17, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, October 21st, 2018, at Mary Bridge’s Children Hospital in Tacoma. She was born on September 7th, 2001, in Yakima, Washington to Linda Chavez. She attended Peninsula High School where she loved art, music and track. Maryah truly lived life to the fullest, never shying away from an adventure when others would say no, yet always the first to lend a helping hand when needed. She loved all animals, especially cats, given that Halloween was her favorite holiday :) Maryah enjoyed camping trips to the river, summer weeks in Lake Chelan, visits to the beach in Mexico, and spending time with her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. However, her true love and passion was art, where she was extremely gifted creating Picasso like abstract drawings and paintings. She is survived by her parents Russell and Linda Crase; brothers, Mikey Delgado and Griffin Crase; sisters, Alexis Delgado, Daisy Delgado, Madelyn Crase, Olivia Crase and Danika Crase; and tons of family. Maryah was a beautiful spirit full of love and energy who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A private service in memory of Maryah will be held on Saturday, October 27th. Donations in her memory can be sent to the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County or to the foundation founded in Maryah's name, Just Come Home.
