Maudyna Joan (Campbell) White

Maudyna Joan White, joined her husband Fred White in Eternity on Jan 14th, 2021.  Born to Maude and Dave Campbell on Dec 18, 1926.  Maudyna was the last surviving of 13 brothers and sisters.  Fred and Maudyna were married on April 2, 1944.  Fred passed 11 years ago.  Maudyna was a seamstress since high School and continued sewing for friends, neighbors, and for the joy it, throughout her life.  Maudyna especially enjoyed quilting and made many beautiful pieces for friends, family and for donation to the community.   Card playing with friends and in playing clubs was another pastime Maudyna enjoyed, along with fishing and gardening throughout her long life.  She is survived by one son, Kenneth White, married to Donna, and one Daughter, Janice, married to John Turner.   Maudyna’s legacy also includes 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, to be born in April 2021, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 13 siblings and a tremendous number of cherished friends and extended family.

There will be an 11:00am viewing and 12:00 Graveside Service at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor, on January 20th, 2021.
