Richard (Dick) Lowery Obituary

Richard (Dick) Don Lowery passed away Sunday December 3, 2023 at the age of 85. Dick was born in Bismark, North Dakota to Fanny and Bert Lowery. He was raised in Fessenden, North Dakota with his sister Jan McLean and brother Spike Lowery all preceded in death.

Dick joined the US Air Force as a young man serving four years active duty. He then married and had three children whom he raised near Kansas City Missouri on their small farm where they enjoyed gardening, horses and playing on the property together.

Dick worked for Kansas City Power and Light for 33 years as a buyer. He retired at the age of 55 and moved to Washington State to be near his brother, sister and daughter.

In 1997 Dick met and married his wife, Cynthia and lived happily ever after.

Dick is survived by his wife Cynthia, daughter Anamargaret Lowery, sons Tim Lowery and Dan Lowery, grandchildren Zane Lowery, Cash Lowery, Brendon Hollis, Amanda Edwardsen, Elijah Peterson-Lowery and great grandson Preston James Hollis.

Services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2:00PM
