Sharon Anne Willanger Macaulay, 61, of Gig Harbor, WA passed away surrounded by her loved ones on February 3, 2023 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Sharon was born November 9, 1961 to Myrna and Walter Willanger in Seattle WA and was the youngest of their three daughters. Sharon graduated from Evergreen High School. Shortly after graduation, Sharon married David Stanley and they had two children, Ryan and Sara. After 16 years of marriage they amicably parted ways.
Sharon worked as a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines where she met her husband, Nick Macaulay, and they married March 27, 1999 and they have lived in Gig Harbor for the past 24 years.
Sharon is known for her compassion, kindness, beautiful smile, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed many adventures and traveling around the world with her husband, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Myrna and Walter, and infant brother, Donald.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Nick Macaulay, Children, Ryan (Amanda) Stanley and Sara Stanley, Step daughter Shanell (Costel) Filip, Grandchildren Dawson and Fletcher Stanley, Ireland and Sawyer Gallagher, Alexa, Chloe and Cristian Filip, Sisters, Sonja (Mark) Gates and Anita (Robert) LaRosa, and many loving family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held May 7, 2023 in Gig Harbor, WA beginning at 2pm.
Sharon touched the lives of so many and is missed beyond words.
