Timothy “TJ” Duchesneau, 72, of Bremerton, WA and current resident of Henderson, NV, passed away on May 23, 2021 while recovering from surgery to battle bladder cancer in Gig Harbor, WA.
TJ was born on January 14, 1949 in Newton, IA to Albert and Mildred Duchesneau. He is survived by his siblings Kathy, Elsie, and Michael.
After serving in the US Navy, he spent his career as an electrician and crane inspector at Bangor Naval Base where he retired. He enjoyed playing card games, watching football (he loved his Seahawks!), and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid bowler and could bowl a perfect game! Most recently he enjoyed living in the sunshine of Henderson, NV where he and his wife, Frankie, were enjoying their new home and getting to know their new community.
In addition to his wife Frankie of 47 years, Tim is survived by his three children Tony (Kenna), Cindy, (Tony Scott), and Chrissy. He was so proud of his seven grandchildren-Ashley (Patrick), Claire, Kiely (Danny), Gabe, and Bailyn, and one great-grandson, Bryson, all whom he loved joking, wrestling, laughing and most of all…teasing!
A memorial will be on June 6, 2021 at Crescent Creek Park, 3303 Vernhardson St., Gig Harbor, WA from 1pm-5pm. TJ consistently donated to St. Jude and donations are welcome in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
