Virda Wilcox Lawrence

Virda, age 75, passed away on June 7th, 2020 in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Virda was born in California on December 24th, 1944, the daughter of Myrtle (Wilcox) Murphy. She was raised by her grandparents Roy and Virda Wilcox and attended high school in Vallejo, California.

She married Donald Lawrence in 1964 in Vallejo, California and relocated to Washington state. They had two sons Douglas, Darrin, and two daughters Charlyn, and Marchelle.

Virda attended beauty school and enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a member of the National Quilting Association. She was a homemaker, taught piano lessons, and played the organ for her church for many years.

Virda is survived by her four children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and other relatives.
