Wilma Conan went home to her Lord on Monday, September 24th, at 86 years of age. She was born and raised in Badger Pocket near Ellensburg. She married her late husband, Ed Conan, and settled in Gig Harbor. She loved her three children, Mike (Michelle) Conan of Sherwood, Oregon. Paul (Kiesha) Conan of Gig Harbor, and Dorsey (John) Marx of Des Moines and her six grandchildren. She was a very strong woman who experienced many challenges in life, but she faced them with faith, joy and the strength of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She was an active, generous, positive, joy-filled woman who was very active in her church, Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, and her community. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Wilma's memory to the Chapel Hill Beyond These Walls Campaign. Wilma's memorial will be held at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor on October 3rd at 3 pm.
