Yvette A Hellar

Yvette A. Hellar, Born 12/26/1923 in Bizerte, Tunisia, Africa, passed from this life on 6/22/2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marcelle Grison Billot, her sister Marianne Pagnon, brother Pierre Billot, her beloved husband Richard Hellar in 2001, and her treasured dogs Gypsy, Squeeky, Pablo, and Pedro. She is survived by her nephews Guy Pagnon and Richard Pagnon, both of France.

After growing up in occupied Africa during World War II, Yvette immigrated to the United States where she married Richard Hellar. They had 52 happy years together, living in Long Island, NY, Miami, FL, Big Pine Key, FL, and Tacoma, WA. Richard and Yvette loved to camp in their VW Bus and sail on the boat they built together.

Yvette brought joy and happiness to all that knew through her kindness and generosity. She was love by many and will be missed by all.

At Yvette’s request, no services will be held. A plaque in memorial of Richard and Yvette will be placed at Haven of Rest, Gig Harbor, WA
