Elijah Riddle

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Son and Brother, Elijah Riddle, who departed from this world on March 16, 2024. Elijah's journey ended unexpectedly, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. He was 30 years old.

Elijah was born August 15, 1993 in Loma Linda, California, the cherished son of Joe and Lori Riddle. From his earliest days, Elijah brought joy and laughter to those around him. His vibrant spirit and warm heart endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Elijah possessed an unwavering commitment to his loved ones. His kindness knew no bounds, and he approached every interaction with empathy and compassion. Whether it was lending a helping hand or offering words of encouragement, Elijah's presence had a remarkable impact on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Elijah was a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends. His laughter was infectious, his smile could brighten the darkest of days, and his love was unconditional. He had a passion for drawing, nature/hiking, and Disney, finding solace and joy in pursuing his passions.

In addition to his warm and generous spirit, Elijah was known for his remarkable dedication to his friends and family. When Eli’s mother Lori had to shave her head during treatment for cancer Elijah shaved his head as well to support her. He pursued his dreams with determination, joining the Navy and becoming a Sailor. His accomplishments served as a source of pride for his family.

Elijah's passing leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence. While we mourn his loss deeply, we take solace in the countless memories and moments shared with him. Elijah's legacy of love, kindness, and bravery will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

In honoring Elijah's memory, let us strive to emulate the qualities that defined his life – compassion, resilience, bravery, and love. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever guide and inspire us.

Elijah is survived by his mother Lori, his father Joe and his brother Adam, as well as by many close friends in San Diego, Utah, Washington, and more.

A memorial service will be held in May.

Elijah's light will shine brightly in our hearts for eternity. May he rest in peace, knowing he was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed.
